How many times have you tried losing weight or adding a fitness routine into your day? And for a few weeks, it goes great! You’ve stocked up on healthy snacks, you’ve prepared nourishing lunches and have a spreadsheet with two weeks worth of meals mapped out.
You even found some fun workouts on YouTube and as long as you get up 20 minutes early each day, you’ll be able to fit them in!
And for a few weeks, you’re doing AMAZING!
You’ve been sticking with your healthy snacks (Hooray for carrot sticks and hummus!).
Your healthy meals are pretty good, and you’ve managed to ignore the ice cream cravings!
Waking up 20 minutes before you need to start your day isn’t so bad!
But something always gets in the way.
You have a bad day and call for delivery, instead of relying on your meal plan. Or... you stay up too late to catch up with work, and end up sleeping in and missing your workout.
You skip lunch to run errands and grab chips when you get home since you ran out of healthy snacks and haven’t made it to the grocery store to stock back up.
These setbacks drain all your motivation to try and get back to your diet. Next thing you know, you’re back into old habits.
With each failed diet, you blame your lack of willpower and feel more frustrated and less confident, worried that you’re never going to feel or look the way you dream of.
